"Idina" and "The Art of Elegance"
As many of you already know, last week stage greats and original "Wicked" witches, Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel both coincidentally released albums on the same day. Chenoweth's is a jazz album titled "The Art of Elegance", which features Chenoweth singing classic songs such as "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart" and "I've Got a Crush on You". Menzel's self titled album is made up twelve original pop songs, and she says that this is her most personal album she has ever released. With that being said, let's go ahead and take a look at both women's albums. Idina Menzel's album, simply titled "idina." is what you might call her true breakthrough into the pop world.
